To protect my collection which is copyrighted I have purchased Digimarc to mark each and every art image! YOU as the purchaser may buy the cd (you will only be purchasing a license, not ownership to my collection) and use them to create your scrap kits or card kits or crafting designs as you wish except for this: YOU may not offer any of my images as a whole i.e. - You may not include the full image postcard in your creations or claiming my collection as yours neither in whole or in part! You may sell what YOU have created!
You may however use any of the images in the following ways;
- editing them or cutting out portions of the images you wish to use for elements or backgrounds, colorizing, resizing, creating frames, tags, etc. I am hoping this will help honest designers and craftspersons who like to use legal pieces of vintage art! My pieces will not be from Dover art collections or any other companies. These are my scans from my personal postcard collection. As such it is copyrighted to me which gives me certain legal rights!
There are 187 postcard images plus some bonus pieces! The entire collection is scanned at 300 ppi for great commercial use and printing!
You may find other collections out there with more images but if you check their resolution, it will mostly likely not be 300 ppi!
